Titanium cobalt cemented carbide (YT) Commonly used grades are YT5, YT15, YT30, the number represents the percentage of titanium carbide. Carbide containing titanium carbide, can improve the bond temperature of steel, reduce friction coefficient, and can make the hardness and wear resistance slightly increased, but reduce the bending strength and toughness, make the quality of brittle, therefore, this kind of alloy is suitable for cutting steel parts.
